Bill Reddington is elected HLDI board chairman

ARLINGTON, VA — The Highway Loss Data Institute is pleased to announce the election of Bill Reddington as the new chairman of its Board of Directors. Reddington is director, actuarial services, of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Companies. He succeeds Shu C. Lin, senior vice president and actuary, Chubb & Son, who served as HLDI chairman in 2009 and will continue to serve as a Board member.

"The insurance loss information HLDI provides the public helps car buyers make informed choices, and I'm proud to be part of this important work," Reddington says. HLDI president Adrian Lund adds, "Bill's strong leadership will help us continue to grow HLDI's detailed analyses of motor vehicle insurance claims experience and how it varies by vehicle design."
